PUBLICATIONS

Hirabhai Thakkar wrote the following seven books, which have been widely read and translated into several languages.
They are mostly based on the lectures delivered by him and retain the informality, humor and depth, which characterized his discourses:

(1) KARMA NO SIDHANT (Theory of Karma)
This book expounds the universal law of Karma and the effect on our daily life and destiny and teaches us how to avoid being trapped in the chain of births and rebirths. About 2,000,000 copies of this title have been distributed in India, America, Canada, England, and Africa etc. This book has been translated in Hindi, Sindhi, Telugu, Marathi and English.

(2)MRITYU NU MAHATMYA (Glory of Death)
This book contains how Death is blissful and powerful. It is indeed the union of soul (Atma) with the Almighty (Parmatma).

(3) VEDANT VICHAR
Vedant is a difficult topic. This book is based on Hirabhai’s masterly discourses, which penetrate the depth of this subject of the true nature of Atma, mundane world and God (Parmatma). It was first published in book form by Reliance Industries, Vimal (Naroda). The original Gujarati version has been translated into Sindhi, Hindi and Marathi.

(4) SHRIMAD BHAGWAD GEETA BHAVARTHA
(CHAPTERS. 1 to 6 - KARMAYOGA)
This book contains the commentary of Shri Hirabhai on the first six chapters of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita. Released on the March 1, 1992 under the aegis of Jivan Jyot Trust in the holy presence of H.H. GITA BHARTIJI by Shri Ramanbhai Rangwala at Swami Shri Hariharanand Ashram.

(5) SHRIMAD BHAGWAD GEETA BHAVARTHA
(CHAPT. 7 to 12 - BHAKTIYOGA)
Released on Gandhi Jayanti (2-10-1990) under the aegis of Reliance Jivanjyot Trust in the presence of H.H. Shri MUNIVARYAJI MAHARAJ in Tagore Hall by Shri Ramanbhai Rangwala. This book includes second six chapters of Bhagwad Gita and Hirabhai’s thoughts on it.

(6) SHRIMAD BHAGWAD GEETA BHAVARTHA
(CHAPT. 13 to 18 - JNANAYOGA)
Released in April 1991. These contains the commentary on last six chapters of Bhagwad Gita

(7) GEETA NAVNEET
During his last years, Shri Hirabhai delivered lectures on Bhagwad Gita at Hariharanand Asharam in Amdavad. Lectures notes were written up by members of the audience and published in this book.
